RecycleThe Miller Company, perhaps like many companies, arrived at “sustainability” as it became “hot.”  Frankly, our first thoughts about the issue revolved around our corporate image and the need to look good in the marketplace.  So, we undertook various initiatives, campaigns and practices in an effort to “get green.”  They’re all good practices, and you can see a list of them in the white paper link in the bottom left corner of this page.

An interesting thing happened as we worked to build our image…we began to feel better about what we were doing – not because of our image, but because it made us think more clearly about our shared space on this planet and about our responsibility as co-owners of the environment.  One of the things we’ve changed is that “green” is not something we’re going to market anymore – it’s just who we’re going to be.  If people ask, we’ll be happy to share our perspective and why we do what we do; otherwise, we’re just going to keep doing what feels right because it feels right.
