The Miller Company Opening New LEED Certified Office in Grapevine, Texas
April 21, 2008The Miller Company is proud to announce the groundbreaking of their new office in Grapevine, Texas on April 22, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. The building is the first commercial building in Grapevine that is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.
LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
